I said it once and I will say it again. NYC is unlike any other place in this country. It stands alone at the top. I would argue the same can be said about footballers in NYC as well. 23 degrees and snow on the ground does not deter NYC’s diehard ballers from getting a game in. I came across this link today and I was immediately impressed. For those who follow football closely, we all know Ajax has a rich history in youth development, with some notable stars to have emerged over the years i.e. ex-USMNT John O’Brien. Ok J O’B might not be on the same level as Van Basten and Bergkamp but homeboy could ball so respect.

Can you think of a better way to start the year then with Alex Morgan? I can’t. Lets face it. She is kinda easy on the eyes and even better she can ball. Therefore we want to wish Alex good luck in the upcoming year and thank her for helping us kick off 2012 on the right foot.
